SYSAV receives, recycles and treats waste from households and businesses in the south of Sweden.

With an eco-cycle perspective, we consider waste a resource. By combining various treatment methods, each kind of waste is dealt with in the most sustainable way according to its potential. With this concept we manage to recover 96 per cent of all waste as recycled materials and energy.

Sysek, South Scania Energy Consulting, is part of the Swedish Sysav Group. Sysek was formed in 2010 to meet the demand of consulting services in waste management, and share knowledge of the Sysav concept. Over many years Sysav acquired extensive knowledge and experience in waste treatment. Since many are interested in building similar waste treatment systems and facilities Sysav is frequently requested to participate in collaborations in various countries. Therefore, Sysav formed the associated company - Sysek - which can be of service with the expertise to build an integrated waste management with various treatment facilities.
