Performance assessment

With Envac’s performance assessment services we offer our full range of skills, knowledge and competence acquired through years of experience working with automated vacuum waste handling systems.

The aim is to produce enough data for our customers to make an informed decision about their system.

For example, over the years the behavioural pattern of users may change. There may also be changes at local or national level with regards to legislation and regulation. There may also be an increased demand for fraction collection or tighter control when it comes to certain waste streams. Questions around improving recycling or energy saving measures are recurrent issues.

Basic Assessment

A basic assessment is the first step, which examines a system’s statistics and historical data. It includes:

  • Energy consumption (monthly/weekly)
  • Total waste flow per fraction (ton/month/week)
  • Service statistics

Adapting to a changing environment

After years of operation an Envac automated waste handling system may need to be readapted to meet the needs of its environment. Adaptations will deliver significant improvements in both capacity and energy consumption.

Environmental Assessments

Envac engineers can assess the environmental impact of an automated waste handling system and make proposals on how to improve this even further. We also offer environmental and financial evaluations when compared with other waste collection methods.
The environmental assessment underpins our customers’ on-going environmental goals such as:

  • Refining organic waste so that it is pure enough to be used for biogas production
  • Linking the waste collection strategy to new recycling goals
