About Choa Chu Kang Avenue 2 (N2C14)
Choa Chu Kang Avenue 2 is a public housing project constructed under the Design and Build Scheme. It is a district in the West of Singapore.
Choa Chu Kang has since evolved from a rural settlement of Chinese immigrants in early 19th century into a hub of residential complex with all amenities required for a modern urban lifestyle. The name of the place is derived from Chinese immigrants who were called "kang chu", where ‘kang' refers to river and ‘chu' refers to the clan name of the first headman in charge of plantations.
The HDB Estate of Choa Chu Kang has all the basic and modern amenities such as shopping malls and recreational, educational and healthcare facilities. It is well connected by all available modes of transport. Like many other planned HDB Estates, various amenities are found within close proximity.
