14 public self-emptying litterbins and 5 inlets handling the waste from the boats trafficking the archipelago placed along the quay in front of the Grand Hôtel at Blasieholmen in Stockholm.

The automated waste and litter collection system is owned by Stockholms Hamnar. It was decided to solve the problem with overflowing litter bins, which is not an unusual sight especially during the summer months with modern technology by installing a vacuum waste system.

The system consists of:

•14 self-emptying litterbins along Strömkajen
•5 waste inlets for commerical waste from the archipelago boats
•3 indoor waste inlets in Grand Hôtel
•1 indoor waste inlet in Bolinderska Palatset

The collection station is hidden underground in front of the National Museum.
