With the opening of the New Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 3 the facilities of the flight catering units were being upgraded.

Envac’s proision of a kitchen waste system came about as a direct result of the excellent performance of our system at Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar.

The state of the art facility is the most modern flight catering facility in India. Envac’s system collects waste from ware wash, dish wash and food preparation areas.

The system is fully equipped with in bench trash chutes, trash chutes located in the food preparation areas, customs bonded warehouse and the conveyor systems receiving food trays from aircraft.

The system is designed for 20 tons of waste per day and will be expanded from 15,000 meals to 30,000 trays in the next two years.
