Summit Plaza, consisting of 483 units was constructed in 1972 and included the installation of an early Envac system.
Summit Plaza is another example of the reliability of these systems, which continue to service trash collection needs of their installations for decades. Recently, Summit Plaza management re-evaluated several infrastructure innovations, installed in the early 1970’s. Only the Envac system survives this infrastructure review.
The photo depicts Envac maintenance personnel inspecting the 40 year old tubes of the Summit Plaza system in 2011, the first significant maintenance operation Envac has been called on to make in the 40 years of the Summit Plaza operations.
Envac’s commitment to support operations and maintenance of its systems continues for the life of each installation.
