After the successful experience with Pino Montano I, the Envac system was installed in the whole Pino Montano neighbourhood releasing a lot of urban space and improving the image of this very dense area.
Pino Montano II is the enlargement of Pino I but this meant to build a second terminal. Inlets are located on the streets and also inside of some buildings.
The system, operated by Lipasam since its inauguration in April 2005, collects more than 19 tons/day of the waste produced by 8.250 dwellings in three different fractions: packaging, rest and paper-cardboard.
The waste terminal is a very impressive building due to the photo electric solar panels installed on the roof.
There is also recycling centre beside the waste terminal where the neighbours can leave other sort of refuse like bulky waste, glass, synthetic oil, cardboards, etc.
