Hong Kong Science Park

Part of the mission for Hong Kong Science Park is to show the community how offices and laboratories can be built to world-class environmental standards.
Each building has a room with two hoppers on each floor where the worker physically puts the recycled and non-recycled waste into the separate hopper or metal container linked to the pipe leading to the waste container.
Ir Stewart Wan, Project Manager

Hong Kong Science Park is a state of the art campus to be used as a hub for innovative and high technology enterprises. It will occupy an area of 22 hectares and provide a gross floor area of 330 000 square metres.

This project has served as a model for other potential projects in Asia with aspirations for advanced building technologies.
