Palma de Mallorca

The narrow streets filled with old infrastructure made this is one of the most challenging projects ever executed by Envac.
It's a third generation collection station and one of the most difficult execution project in Spain due to the city urban trace.
Antoni Obradors, Civil works Engineer, Emaya

The collection station is underground, reached between two traffic lanes and all the inlets are located out-doors.

The system is designed to collect waste in two different waste streams from 9.000 dwellings. It has more than 11.000 meters of pipe, and successfully handles 29 tonnes of waste per day.

Envac has an agreement with the system owners for technical assistance.
