In October 2011 Romainville inaugurated an Envac system in the Cachin neighbourhood.
On the occasion the City Council invited the neighbourhood to an open-doors day, 300 people visited the waste collection station to watch the system in operation. The system is installed in a consolidated area.
A total of 9,000 inhabitants in Romainville, a community on the eastern outskirts of Paris, is served by the Envac system. For the information campaign, the city council has hired 6 people responsible for training users on the proper use of our system.
At the same time the building guards responsible for the maintenance of the buildings affected in this first phase, in French called "gardien d'immeubles", will also be trained in the proper use of the system and are proving to be the best promoters of it because thanks to the pneumatic system have finished with dirty work, trash and bad smells.
