Beijing 301 Hospital

With a reputation of being one of the best hospitals in China, Beijing 301 Hospital is keeping its pace with international front edge technology to ensure superconditions to both personnel and patients. An Envac installation helps to collect linnen and waste separately.
The modern hospital concept has been applied to both new facilities and new technologies, as the automated waste/linen collection system. This will keep the new buildings sustained for several decades without having to do further renovations.
Wang Shu Feng, Vice President of Beijing 301 Hospital

The hospital has more than 150 clinical, medical and technological departments. In 2007, there were more than 2.38 million outpatient visits, 604,000 admissions and 36,000 operations. The huge amount waste and dirty laundry made the hospital look for new technology in waste handling.

With a capacity of 30 tones waste and 15 tones dirty linen every day, the installed vacuum waste and soiled linnen collection system does not only meet the current need but also the increasing demand for the future. Apart from the hygiene and efficiency, Beijing 301 Hospital benefits from the system for a long term manual cost saving and space saving.

This is the first installation of Envac applied in a hospital in Asia and stands as a model for a growing market.
