The World Economic Forum (WEF) has spotlighted the City of Bergen’s innovative implementation of Envac’s automated waste collection system as a leading example of sustainable urban innovation.
The pneumatic system by Envac consists of an initial network of over 500 metres of underground pipes through which the waste is transported from the source, with inlets spread inside the terminal, to the waste collection station. The total investment of the system is over 2.1 million euros.
Envac is proud to provide state-of-the-art waste management systems for the forthcoming Health Quarter in Aksdal, Tysvaer Municipality in Norway. This innovative facility is designed to enhance healthcare and welfare services for the community.
