Contributing towards sustainable urban development

Sustainability has always been at the core of what we do and is an essential driver of our business. We enable smart, sustainable communities and drive the circular economy by redefining how society thinks of waste – today and for future generations.

With 2.5 billion more people living in urban areas by 2050 and a doubling of the amount of waste generated, cities require smarter and more sustainable waste management solutions. Envac is part of the broader solution by promoting circular resource use and carbon neutrality while improving quality of life and creating added value for property developers.

Quality of life

Our collection systems improve residents’ quality of life by enhancing road safety and creating cleaner, more pleasant residential areas. The solution frees up space for additional green areas that can be used for parks, footpaths, cycle lanes, and much more.

The system also reduces the need for heavy refuse lorries and cuts carbon emissions by up to 90%, as the waste is transported automatically outside the residential area in a closed system. This enables the development of smart cities where the living environment is cleaner, free from unpleasant odours, with reduced noise and a lower risk of vermin.

Minimise emissions

The system reduces emissions associated with waste management by improving operational efficiency and optimising energy consumption through automation and sensor-driven technology that can be controlled remotely.

The level sensors are activated only when the system is full, which optimises space and ensures that collection takes place at the right time.

This reduces traffic flows that contribute to emissions in urban environments.
