Envac’s team in Qatar is pleased to announce one of our latest wins, which adds to our growing portfolio of projects within Qatar’s Lusail City.

Envac has been appointed by United Developers Company to design, supply, install, commission, operate and maintain a Pneumatic Waste Collection System at Place Vendôme. The PWCS will be capable of collecting up to 10 tons of waste per day via a 3,000m pipe network connected to 39 inlets.

Place Vendôme is an upcoming multibillion Qatari Riyal mixed-use development underway in Qatar’s emerging Lusail City. The project, which broke ground on 17th March 2014, will package 1,000,000m² of retail, leisure, entertainment and luxury into a one-stop family destination by the seafront. Place Vendôme is set to become a new destination for the region, combining utmost convenience with an ocean of choices. The design of Place Vendôme has been inspired by classic architecture found in Paris.

The Envac team is currently in the middle of an 11-month design, supply and install programme. The PWCS is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of January 2020.
