Envac is excited to take part in Emerge East 2026, a free celebration of community, creativity and nature at Barking Riverside in East London.

Taking place on Saturday 12 September 2026, from 11:00 to 21:00, Emerge East brings together residents, visitors, artists, makers and local organisations for a full day of experiences across one of East London’s newest neighbourhoods. The festival programme includes creative workshops, nature-inspired activities, food, music, wellness experiences and family-friendly entertainment.

Fun activities for adults and children

As part of the event, Envac will have a booth where visitors can learn more about the automated waste collection system at Barking Riverside and how it supports cleaner, safer and more liveable urban environments.

There will also be fun activities for both adults and children, making it a great opportunity for families to stop by, ask questions and discover how smart waste infrastructure works in everyday life.

Barking Riverside is one of London’s most ambitious new neighbourhoods, and Envac’s automated waste collection system is part of the infrastructure helping to shape a cleaner and more sustainable community.
