Envac Iberia participates in Greencities 2023, promoting urban transformation with smart and sustainable mobility
Envac Iberia aims to promote sustainable urban development through the region’s highly efficient waste management systems. The company has installed over 1,000 systems in various cities worldwide, including London, New York, Paris, Singapore, and Stockholm. Envac operates 60 waste collection systems across 28 cities in Spain, including those ranked highest in environmental care and citizen well-being. Envac will be showcasing its smart system to promote sustainable urban development, smart mobility, and recyclability during the upcoming Greencities event in Malaga. Envac Iberia has developed a roadmap to help municipalities, property developers, and healthcare providers achieve their sustainable goals while providing a clean, safe, and hygienic environment.
Envac began operations in Spain in 1989 and has since deployed 60 facilities in 28 cities, including Madrid, Vitoria, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Zaragoza, Pamplona, León, and Bilbao. These figures position Spain as the second country in Europe, after Sweden, with the largest park of sustainable waste management systems in operation.
According to Cesar Morais, Commercial Director of Envac Spain, efficient waste management and transportation is a significant driver towards transforming cities. The ambition is to lower carbon emissions, create more green space and improve the quality of life. Our circular solutions eliminate direct contact with waste and reduce the risk of accidents.
