With these new contracts, and once the new pneumatic waste collection systems are operational, Envac will have equipped six hospitals in France with their technology.
Karla Tower (Karlatornet in Swedish) in Gothenburg, Sweden, has made waves in the real estate industry for its innovative and sustainable design. The tower has installed a waste collection system from Envac to handle both residual and food waste, seamlessly integrated into the existing vacuum waste collection system at Lindholmen.
Envac Korea is proud to announce its partnership with SK ecoplant. This year, SK ecoplant won the award in the Environment Synergies category for its innovative waste solution, called ‘PICKLE*. SK ecoplant has won this award two years in a row for its outstanding achievement in sustainable urban development.
“Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” aims to fundamentally change waste management by implementing a new IoT-based infrastructure. This infrastructure integrates recycling, reusing, and the sharing economy across an entire city district. The project is also unique in size, and it focuses on behavioural science research. Envac is one of the collaborators in the pioneering research project initiated by Stockholm Vatten och Avfall, Sweden’s leading water and waste company.
Envac France has been responsible for installing pneumatic waste collection systems in the municipalities of Issy-le-Moulineaux and Romainville, as well as in the Batignolles district of Paris. This technology significantly reduces the number of conventional waste truck collection routes, resulting in an 80% reduction in NO2 and CO2 emissions.
On October 4th, the Bergen Municipality, BIR and Envac jointly launched a new waste collection station of Bergen’s automated waste collection system. The modern waste management technology is now operational in many neighbourhoods.
