Envac is proud to participate in the ISWA World Congress 2026, taking place in London on 9-11 November 2026. The event brings together the global waste and resource management community to explore how innovation, collaboration and sustainable infrastructure can help cities create lasting impact.

This year’s theme, “Create Legacy”, aligns closely with Envac’s mission to help cities move beyond traditional waste collection and towards cleaner, safer and more efficient urban environments.

Join our session with Barking Riverside

On Wednesday 11 November at 13:00, Envac will take part in a curated session together with Barking Riverside Limited: From Bins to Legacy: How Barking Riverside’s Vacuum Waste System Is Shaping a New London Neighbourhood

The session will explore how replacing traditional bins and truck-based waste collection with an automated vacuum waste collection system is helping shape Barking Riverside into a cleaner, safer and more liveable neighbourhood. It will also highlight how smart waste infrastructure can reduce traffic, lower carbon emissions and contribute to long-term sustainable urban development.

Representing Envac, Niklas Karlsson, Regional President Envac North Europe, will speak together with Sarah McCready, Director of Social Infrastructure & Communications at Barking Riverside. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A.

Panel Session on Community Voices in Waste Policy and Circular Economy Narratives

Envac will also be represented by Naz Habashian, Chief Sustainability Officer at Envac Group, who, on Tuesday 10 November, will participate in the session “Whose Story Is It? Amplifying Community Voices in Waste Policy and Circular Economy Narratives”, scheduled for a morning slot before lunch.
