Guangzhou Jin Sha Zhou Eco-town

Envac has greatly reduced the labour intensity of local cleaning workers. It saves the work and cost of collecting waste layer by layer in the high-rise residential buildings.

The brief

Jin Sha Zhou Eco-town is a new ecological residential demonstration area planned by Guangzhou municipal government, located in the west of Guangzhou, with a total area of 9.3 square kilometers and a population of 160,000. It is a residential Eco-town with low-rent and affordable housing community, high-grade property community, hospitals, schools and related supporting facilities. Jin Sha Zhou is the first district in Guangdong province to be equipped with an Envac pneumatic waste collection system, while Jin Sha Zhou Eco-town is the first comprehensive residential district in all China mainland to be equipped with the system.

The Project

Each developer invests in the installation of the waste collection system in their property, and then accesses the public network of the government. This way the Envac system solution covers the whole Jin Sha Zhou Eco-town. The construction model is similar to gas and power.

The total investment by government of four region Jin Sha Zhou Eco-town is 300 million yuan, including 100 million yuan of equipment investment.
