With the latest UN climate report alarming the world to the closing window of opportunity to secure a liveable and sustainable future for all, we quickly need to scale up more sustainable solutions in the world’s cities.

The Sweden+Korea Green Transition Alliance and its member companies invited a delegation of South Korean journalists to Sweden to learn more about Swedish sustainability solutions that can support South Korea to become a carbon-neutral society by 2050.

The aim of the event was to demonstrate and exchange proven solutions that can promote circularity, renewable energy and smart mobility. Read a Q&A between journalists from South Korea and Christer Lundberg, Global Sustainability & Quality Lead at Envac, from the Sweden+Korea Green Transition Alliance session on more sustainable waste management solutions.

About the Sweden+Korea Green Transition Alliance
The Sweden+Korea Green Transition Alliance was launched by the Embassy of Sweden, Business Sweden and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Korea, together with around 15 Swedish companies in Korea – including Envac. The alliance is exploring opportunities to support South Korea in becoming a carbon-neutral society by 2050.
The event on 13-15 March 2023 was used to promote the recently launched Sweden+Korea Green Transition Alliance Market Access Report. The report showcases how alliance member companies – such as Envac – can contribute to South Korea’s green transition.
